 Medicine and Healthcare Africa is a private Healthcare Resource Centre devoted to the development, growth and upliftment of Medicine and Healthcare on the continent of Africa. MHA also focuses on strengthening links with other organizations on core issues affecting health care development in Africa.As innovations are being made daily to advance the cause of mankind, healthcare organizations that want to get to the future must begin plotting the right strategies today. Therefore, MHA believes that the days when the healthcare sector operated in silos must end as new solutions are emerging from beyond traditional boundaries and innovative business models are formed in a globalized healthcare world. Propelled by the desire to achieving accelerated quality improvement in private medical practice in Nigeria, MHA also pioneered the campaign for strategies to speed up the diffusion of evidence-based innovations in healthcare. Our driving force is our commitment to raising the performance of healthcare in Nigeria for the benefit of the population. MHA has positioned itself to profeer solutions to the deep chasm in the structure, organisation and management of healthcare in Nigeria today. We are resolved to use all our resources to ensure a more functional, sustainable, equitable and efficient healthcare system targeted towards the population. The capacity of the healthcare workforce to meet the challenges of Medicine & Healthcare in 21st century has diminished during the past decades with a noticeable gap in education, training, re-training, and effective dissemination of medical knowledge. MHA provides avenues and opportuinies for healthcare personnel to keep in touch with new trends, innovative medical procedures and best practices in healthcare management.
